Flemish 17th century
Portrait of a Man (presumably Rafaello Raggio)
Inspired on Anthony Van Dycks 3-quarter portrait of an officer (Sotheby's, London, 2015-12-10, , lot nr. 30), wich was presumably a study for a postume portrait of Rafaello Raggio (National Gallery of Art (Washington, inv./cat.nr 1942.9.90). Van Dyck must have made those portraits during his first stay in Italy (see Barnes a.o., Van Dyck: a complete catalogue of the paintings, New Haven, cat nr II 89).
Oil on Canvas, 37 x 31cm (14 ⁵/₈ x 12 ¹/₄ inches)
17th century
