Allegory of Summer with the Zodiac signs (2 of a pair)

Summer fruits, vegetables and flowers are draped on a table. In the back 3 Zodiac signs (Cancer, Leo, Virgo) with a painting of Jacobo Bassano, representing farmers harvesting crops. This allegory of summer was probably part a series of 4 (Allegory of the 4 seasons). Traditionally our work was attributed to "Pseudo Jan van Kessel II" (Christie's Amsterdam, May 9th 2007, lot 54) but it has clearly been made by a Spanish painter, possibly working in Naples.
